convert hdr image

I have a hdz file from keyshot 5 I want to use it in another program, the question is how to convert this format to normal hdri?

or if anyone has this map please share it please…

Most of the older ressources content was uploaded to the https://cloud.keyshot.com/
KeyShot 5 is too old to use the workarounds. You’ll need a newer version.
One way is to open the HDZ file in HDRI editor and try to save as hdr format.
If that isn’t an option, you could render a panoramic camera as EXR file and convert it.

Maybe ask Luxion’s support team. They should know if it is allowed to share this file.

Thank you do not tell the name of the program for converting I noticed that very little supports this format?

I used Photoshop to load the EXR (used the Free Plugin) and saved it as HDR.

in this case, please expand the name of the plugin.

I think EXR-IO is the plugin for photoshop referenced here.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work.

I used that plug-in on the latest Photoshop, but not updated the plug-in.

photoshop 24 beta?
and also what version of the plugin?

why is this format so complicated?
trying to defend yourself like that?

this is the stupidest decision I’ve ever seen!

I could be wrong, but I believe one of the reasons it’s not in a different format has to do with the licensing of that HDRI. It was included free to use in KeyShot 5, (wow, that was just under 10 years ago), but might have not been intended to be used outside of KeyShot.

I’m not sure what the terms of use was with that particular asset. Looks like you can buy that HDRI and matching backplates here.

thank you, but I’m in financial trouble right now and I can’t buy it…

There’s a bunch of others for free on HDRI haven.

Thank you, but I need this one.
